Spring TIme
For this self-initiated brief, I created a set of patterns that was applied to stationery. During my degree, I completed an exchange semester at the University of Leeds. Whilst there, I undertook an illustration class and became fascinated with drawing patterns and became inspired by spring-time and new growth. Originally I was interested in documenting how patterns changed and emerged when hand drawn over and over again, but for this stationery application, the patterns have been vectorised and repeated. There are four individual patterns, with different colour variations. I have hand-bound the notebooks using Coptic Binding.
